I dislocated my shoulder while I was out on a holiday with my family.
When it was finally time for me to finally go back to my regular activities, I knew I needed to find a shoulder brace, but didn’t know where to start looking or how I’d go about finding the right one for my build.
A friend of mine suggested that I should try the EVS Brace, so I searched for it online.
I liked what I saw, but didn’t buy it until I checked the other supports out there. Compared to the others, this one looked really solid, so I decided to give it a go.
The EVS SB03
The thing about a support brace is you can never quite decide which one is the best for you—or your injury, which is why I’m here to help.
Today you’ll get to learn about one of the more popular braces in the market, the EVS SB03.
It has received quite a good number of glowing reviews from its users, but I wanted to see for myself if it’s as good as they say it is…
Is it really the best? Or is it all just hype?
The SB03 has been made with the X-Strap Technology to make sure you always get superior stability and compression.
The EVS brace can be easily adjusted to make sure it is always fine-tuned to giving you what you need most: Stability and support.
But it’s not only these things that makes this brace a very good choice to those who need it—like me for instance.
The SB03 is constructed with a breathable air mesh so you won’t feel hot during the summer.
It allows for maximum comfort with the TPR gripper pull-tabs.
It’s also designed to fit either the left or the right shoulder, and as long as the appropriate adjustments are made, it can be worn on both sides at the same time.
One other thing that I like about this thing is this: It’s great in the gym, but it’s not just limited to that. You can also go ahead and wear it while you’re in the water.
So it doesn’t matter if you’re swimming, kayaking, or even training/performing as a triathlete, this support is designed to provide you with the maximum comfort while you perform a range of rotative movements.
Some Other Bits And Pieces You Should Know
The EVS SB03 is also easy to wear—you can wear it on your own, actually.
That’s how I did it. It isn’t all the time that you get to use a support brace that’s tough and versatile, but at the same time very light in weight.
But this brace comes with its own flaws.
While some may have described it to be easy to put on—and generally it is, and you don’t need any help when you do that—it still varies, and it may also depend on the kind of injury or the degree of pain and discomfort you have.
For the really hot days, it’s easy to feel the sweat, but almost all shoulder braces are like that, regardless of the fabric.
There is nothing to be disappointed about either, as this EVS brace doesn’t just securely hold the shoulder in the socket, its muscle recovery support is phenomenal too!
It might not even take you that long until you’ll be required to take the SB03 off for good.
And by then you’re going to feel like you’ll be leaving home your best friend. Haha!
But seriously though, the brace is a godsend. It may cost more than some other brands out there, but for what it has to offer, the SB03 should cost twice as much—lucky for us, it’s doesn’t.
Overall, the EVS Shoulder Brace is a great choice. It helped me get back on track—and it was just what I needed during the healing stage.
It fit just right. You won’t have a hard time getting impressed—I sure as hell didn’t.
