There’s been a lot of talk about the Elasto Gel and we really want to know why that is. There used to be a time when shoulder ice packs—well, ice packs in general, looked a lot less complicated, not to mention easier to apply.
But now, just looking at it, this cross between a sleeve and an ice pack doesn’t just look out of this world, it also looks so… rugged, regal… For the lack of a better word.
But the big question is… Will it be able to do a good job of relieving you from your constant pain? And can it do a better job than the regular ice pack? Let’s get down to the nitty gritty of it all.
Are The Features Good Enough?
But with all the ruggedness that it offers, this ice wrap looks pretty flimsy at first glance. Luckily for us, looks hardly matter—this sleeve is tough enough NOT to leak when it’s accidentally punctured.
Another plus I have to give point out is that a lot of medical clinics all over the country are using this to treat joint and muscle pain. Seems promising, eh? It’s made with Lycra so you stay comfortable all the time, and it conforms to the body.
Is It Worth The Price?
This ice wrap is definitely worth purchasing. It’s not even that expensive—but still pricier than other ordinary sleeves out there. For the comfort and quality that it offers, I wouldn’t mind paying a little more for it.
What Can It Do For You?
Even the most skeptical of physical therapists were impressed with what this wrap can do. It can handle a variety of shoulder conditions such as bursitis, rotator cuff tendinitis, and the like. It’s also a great way to help with the healing stage that after going through surgery. Great way to ice them until it heals, and it works as long as the required treatment: Twenty minutes or so. Looks like a good sign for those who need some serious therapy out there.
Well, no product can ever be perfect, except if it came out from the movies. Though this shoulder wrap has received numerous glowing reviews from customers all around the world, it still has gotten its fair share of criticisms.
Some people think that it doesn’t get cold enough… Fair observation, I suppose.
However, given the fact that it can’t perform as well as an ice pack does, this is still the next best thing. And unless you’d be willing to hold ice over your shoulder for twenty minutes at a time until your fingers go numb and you can no longer feel your hands, nothing will come close to how good this sleeve is.
Given all that, the overall verdict on this product is still VERY good. Excellent, actually, for what it does and for the relief that it provides.
Actually, there is one tiny thing that has been nagging me all this time? It doesn’t come in many colors. I mean, what is that about?
But that isn’t really important now, is it? It shouldn’t even be a part of our review! But oh well. It still is worth mentioning.
So guys, if you want the real deal, go get the ElastoGel. It’s comfortable, easy to use, it’s tough and doesn’t puncture easily, it’s a great fit for almost all sizes, and you are going to look good wearing it. But above all that, it works. It actually does. You won’t get disappointed with this sleeve.
